At the present time, besides classical dependencies like alcohol, drugs, etc., new types of behaviour characterised by a dysfunctional use and/or abuse of social accepted activities like sex, the use of the Web, relationships, shopping and games of chance. For the majority of the people these activities are an integrated part of a normal daily life, but for some individuals these activities could assume pathological characteristics and be the cause of mechanisms of addiction and they could have heavy consequences on one’s life. The main objective of the present paper is to examine these new addictions thoroughly, by highlighting the characteristics of these new compulsive pathologies and the main and distinctive features of the most widespread, that is to say sexual addiction, cybersex addiction, affective addiction, shopping addiction (compulsive shopping) and game of chance addiction (pathological game of chance addiction). It has been often highlighted that these new addiction cause healthy, psychological and social life disorders, such as the loss of self control, compulsiveness and inclination in repeating the action, alteration of consciousness and lack of sense of the reality. It is therefore necessary to improve our knowledge of this new phenomenon and encourage the development of effective interventions. Sesso amore e matrimonio: tre stili di personalità

1.434 adults, representative of the adult Italian population, completed a battery of scales connected to behaviours, values and personality traits; and particularly about Attitudes towards sexual relationships. Data show that sexual relationships are currently considered absolutely normal behaviours, often connected to love but independents from matrimonial references. The sample has been also Cluster Analysed, revealing three personality Types, with reference to attitudes towards sexual relationships: A) Sex & Sex (39,5%), who consider sexual relationships like any other way to communicate between persons, and are more often: men, learned, medium aged, dynamic, empatic, imaginative, internalist; B) Sex & Love (38,4%), who consider sex as a sentimental matter, and are more often: women, young, learned, marriageable, with a tendentially normal personality and “with the feet for earth although with some tendency to psychological caution, much sociable and very little aggressive; C) Sex & Marriage (22,1%), who generally see sex as strictly connected to wedding, and are more often: old, little learned, conjugates, introverts, afraid of the world and of others, externalists, with attachment difficulties with their parents. Since 1982, after the promulgation of the law n. 164 of April 14th, sex reassignment, for people who request of correction of assignment of sex, makes it completely legal. As low foresees, sex reassignment surgery is a compulsory step to obtain rectification of personal data. Objective of this work is to analyze some aspects of law 164/1982 and the procedure of its enforcement from Italians Courts. Key words: transsexualism, law 164/82, sex reassignment
