European history has always been characterized by a strong link between banks and States and, more generally, between banks and politics. National banking systems, therefore, have always been one of the forms of expression of sovereignty. This setting is seriously called into question by the Banking Union project, which has been recently implemented in Europe. Given the importance of the issue, this should be studied not only from the perspective of economics and regulatory studies, but also from the perspective of constitutional law. The paper, after a reconstruction of the historical and economic conditions that have led to design a project of Banking Union, analyzes several constitutional issues. In particular, te paper focuses on the friction points between the European Banking Union and the democratic principle, the rule of law and the justiciability principle.

It is a well-known fact, that in the 1970s, feminist activists reappro- priated the figure of the witch in various ways as a symbol of alterity, political radicalism, feminist revolt or victimhood, or the presentation of subversive (healing or body) knowledge. The article investigates the construction of this «artificial myth» in the early 1970s within different milieus of the emergent women’s movements based on the examination of three feminist magazines and health guidebooks. «Die Hexenpresse. Zeitschrift für feministische Agitation» (1972-1976) in Basel, the West Berlin health guide Hexengeflüster. Frauen greifen zur Selbsthilfe (1975), and the artistic-literary journal «Sorcières. Les femmes vivent» (1975- 1982) in Paris are read as sites and tools of alternative knowledge produc- tion. The article aims at demonstrating the new witch myth as a matrix of «knowledge empowerment».

This paper discusses two influential policy concepts at the European level that aim to promote economic diversification of regions, that is the Constructing Regional Advantage concept (CRA) and the Smart Specialisation concept (SS). Both policy frameworks identify and prioritise ‘promising’ targets for policy intervention, but they do so differently. The SS concept organizes this identification process through entrepreneurial discovery in which entrepreneurs select the domains of future specialisation. The CRA concept focuses on identifying related variety and bottlenecks that prevent related industries in regions to connect and interact. The paper argues that the two policy concepts can provide useful inputs to develop a smart and comprehensive policy design that focuses on true economic renewal in regions.

In the last decades, a fruitful stream of research has paid attention to the servitization strategy analysing the role of accounting in supporting it. We deeply investigate the role of accounting information in verifying the validity of a servitization strategy. Drawing on the pragmatic constructivism, we identify the key elements of servitization strategy associated to possibilities, facts, and values that could contribute to transform new possibilities into factual possibilities. Focusing on New Product Development (NPD) processes, we aim to analyse the use of accounting information in managing two development projects. In particular, the accounting information, acting as a communication means can verify the validity of a company servitization strategy in order to complete the construction of that strategy. We conducted an interpretive case-study at a division of a multinational, manufacturing company operating in the semiconductor industry. Case evidence showed how the revisions to the projects, suggested from accounting communications during the NPD phases, allowed a realignment of the two projects to the servitization strategy at the company level, which was validated with respect to the new devices.

[La consulenza filosofica è un fenomeno nuovo in Italia ma già presente in diversi paesi europei, in Israele e negli Stati Uniti. Di essa si parla e si discute un po’ ovunque. Abbiamo cercato di riprodurre il dibattito attualmente in corso ricorrendo all’espediente di una "chiacchierata filosofica". Invece di redigere un testo in terza persona, secondo i criteri della neutralità, ci è sembrato che il carattere non ancora definitivo della consulenza filosofica e il fermento teorico della riflessione intorno ad essa, si lasciassero avvicinare meglio nella forma più naturale e originaria della discussione, cioè in un dialogo tra due persone di opinione diversa. Così abbiamo immaginato A, convinto sostenitore di una consulenza filosofica ben fondata, discutere con B, osservatore interessato ma un po’ scettico del fenomeno, che indirizza caparbiamente le proprie critiche sui suoi punti nevralgici. Al termine del dialogo presentiamo una serie di schede che intendono documentare le origini e la diffusione della consulenza filosofica (dalla Germania agli Stati Uniti, dall’Olanda alla Gran Bretagna all’Italia), indicando al tempo stesso alcuni aspetti di un dibattito che coinvolge questioni come quelle del rapporto tra consulenza filosofica e psicoterapie, della formazione del consulente filosofico, della legislazione relativa a questa forma di pratica filosofica.]

Diverse sono oggi le proposte consulenziali che, sia da diversi orientamenti interni alla pedagogia sia da diverse prospettive disciplinari, cercano di fornire un aiuto ai professionisti impegnati nei contesti educativi (insegnanti, educatori, formatori). Ma quali sono i tratti peculiari di un intervento di consulenza? Qual è la specificità di un approccio “pedagogico” nella consulenza? E in che cosa la consulenza pedagogica si distingue dalle altre proposte di consulenza che popolano i contesti educativi?

Telephone counselling for sexual problems: activity and methods of institute of clinical sexology of rome - Introduction: Help-lines have become a common counselling services in Europe, for men and women who are seeking advice for sexual problems. Despite this, relatively few peer-reviewed reports on this subject have been published in the last decade. Aim: To analyze the requests presented by users calling the help-line of Institute of Clinical Sexology of Rome for sexual problems and to describe the objectives and methods of this counselling service. Methods: The study included all the valid records of the calls received during the 3-year period of 2004-2007 (N=944). Results: The users are the 62.2% males vs 37.8% females. Among the calls about male sexual dysfunctions, the most frequently reported difficulties were erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation (42.9% and 36% respectively). Among female sexual dysfunctions, the majority of callers reported difficulties such as vaginismus and low/inhibited desire (35.7% and 24.1% respectively). Medical requests were 14% of the total. A large number of calls for information were also received. The majority of callers (55.8%) had not previously sought consultation for their problem. Conclusion: This kind of counselling is an important and effective resource to elicit requests that otherwise might remain hidden and therefore it can be a useful link between the health-care system and callers. La consultazione può essere pensata come uno spazio tempo nel corso del quale le due parti in campo, il sistema che chiede aiuto ed il sistema di cura, attuano sul palcoscenico della relazione delle conarrazioni utili a co-definire l’eventuale assetto della cura come esito della consultazione stessa. Il caso di Oliver, della serie tv In treatment, viene utilizzato per precisare meglio questa proposta teorico-clinica che, nata nell’ambito della psicoanalisi dell’adolescenza, viene sviluppata qui con una portata più generale.

L’autore descrive le difficoltà delle consultazioni brevi in ambito universitario. I primi incontri sono un condensato a volte incomprensibile del mondo interno e di aspetti della personalità del paziente che emergeranno in seguito. Ma la consultazione per contratto sarà breve. A volte è previsto che il paziente sia inviato ad altro terapeuta: il terapeuta dunque è un oggetto transitorio, non transizionale. Attraverso alcuni flash clinici vengono evidenziate le profonde emozioni messe in moto nella coppia paziente-terapeuta durante il processo di immersione empatica, di contatto e ben presto di separazione e lutto.
