The Susy Safe Project is an European Registry of Foreign Bodies Injuries in Children in the upper aero-digestive tract. The Registry is a joint action of the European Commission, DG-SANCO and five European Countries. The aim of the Susy Safe Project is to characterize the products causing the injuries, with the aim at identifying dangerous products, at fostering safety of young consumers and at promoting prevention activities directed to families.

The Registry is a joint action of the European Commission, DG-SANCO and five European Countries. The aim of the Susy Safe Project is to characterize the products causing the injuries, with the aim at identifying dangerous products, at fostering safety of young consumers and at promoting prevention activities directed to families.

The epidemiological activity of the Susy Safe is based on a database of more than 7000 injuries, collected overall in Europe and even outside of it, making the Susy Safe one of the biggest source of information in the world.
