"To see" is to activate the visual organs, whereas "to look" at someone means "to catch" them, to start an open relationship with them. We see not only by means of our eyesight, but also through our touch, our hearing, our actions. By isomorphism we do not mean reproducing a structure, we mean "catching" a body which feels emotions. Emotions have evolved as means of interpersonal negotiation. Experiencing emotions is not only "feeling" oneself, it is feeling while expressing oneself. We need to look at the human being starting not from the brain, but from the whole person. The identity of a person is the result of a process of "building together" in which the other plays a fundamental role. If the other is missing, everyone’s capacity of defining their personality is maimed.

Keywords: To look, to grasp, to feel, to express oneself, emotion, person.
