The Italian 2017 Social Enterprises Act has enhanced the role and functions of non profit organisations that pursue public interest by carrying out economic activities on a continuous and stable basis. The 2017 Act lists a number of activities of general interest, including social tourism, which social enterprises may promote and develop. This article is aimed to analyse how social enterprises represent legal organisations apt to perform tourist activities.
La legge sulle imprese sociali del 2017 ha rafforzato il ruolo e le funzioni delle organizzazioni non profit che perseguono l'interesse pubblico svolgendo attività economiche su base continuativa e stabile. La legge del 2017 elenca una serie di attività di interesse generale, compreso il turismo sociale, che le imprese sociali possono promuovere e sviluppare. Questo articolo ha lo scopo di analizzare come le imprese sociali rappresentino organizzazioni normativamente previste atte a svolgere attività turistiche
