La formazione superiore dei professionisti dell’educazione e della formazione: dal modello disciplinarista al focus sui contenuti core

Il contributo analizza le radici dell’approccio disciplinarista nell’alta formazione per passare alla considerazione dell’impatto dell’approccio funzionalista proprio delle politiche europee sulle trasformazioni in atto. Sono quindi richiamati i risultati di alcune delle più significative ricerche svolte in materia di obiettivi di apprendimento propri della formazione dei professionisti dell’educazione e della formazione. Il tentativo è di individuare i capisaldi di un approccio che consenta, a partire dal presente, di superare i limiti del disciplinarismo, garantendo l’acquisizione dei fondamenti della professione. La soluzione viene ricercata negli studi che tendono a definire i contenuti core della professionalità degli educatori e dei formatori e che spostano l’attenzione dall’insegnamento della disciplina ai learning outcomes conseguiti dagli studenti.
