In this article I maintain, that after Covid-19, we psychologists and psycho- therapists have a great opportunity to contribute to promote a planetary sense of community, which will help to face the systemic problems of climate change, increase in mental distress, racism, sexism, and growing socioeconomic and po- wer inequalities. Only we become more aware of the link between the specific crisis we prioritize and all the others, will we have a better possibility to develop a planetary sense of community to tackle these problems on a global level. First, I document how climate change has increased the urgency to face problems at a planetary level, then I describe how researchers in different fields are exploring concepts that underline the need to increase our awareness of belonging the pla- net Earth. Third I discuss why it is essential to elect politicians who will promote the complex cultural, economic and social transitions to fight climate change, and why they should support global youth movements like Friday for Future. In the fourth part I describe what psychologists and psychotherapists can do as professionals and activists to fight climate change.
