The aim of this article is to focus the attention on some aspects of bereavement that are not shared by psychotherapists even if they are supported by clinical and experimental evidence. On the other hand the article wants to focus on the critical aspects to accept pathologically a loss. The article is about the general theme of accepting a loss and to ease slightly this tragic event. Bereavement is actually the prototype of loss experiences that imply a permanent change and that cannot be ignored or modified but in actual fact lead to a process of acceptance.
