This is a free interpretation by five psychotherapists of the technique in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The interventions initially consider the setting, a problem characterizing the application of psychoanalysis to contexts other than traditional ones. Linked to the theme of the setting are considered the conditions necessary for the therapeutic process along with the therapeutic goals, the purposes of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Finally, the technique with the patients of our time, those who present the so-called new pathologies.
