Within the study of the time conciliation measures and of the vertical governance processes, the author presents an overview of the Italian legislation from the equal opportunities to the time policies. In particular, the paper focuses on the role of the regional Public Administrations in the management of the city-time policies, according to the Law 142/90 and/or the Law 53/2000. The text presents a typology of the regional institutional performance on the harmonisation of city times, through a combined analysis of the level of the policies formulation and that of expectation of the regional legislative implementation.
