The authors analyze the nature of attention-deficit disorders in the light of the latest neuropsychological researches and of the Human Information Processing, inquiring into i the potential links between such disorders and the epilepsy pathology. The paper emphasizes the relationship between cognitive performances, in particular attention dynamics of attention , and factors like onset age, type and frequency of crises, effect of antiepileptic drugs and presence of behavioral, relational or emotional issues. The authors report the most relevant data of three studies they have recently accomplished on this issue, which confirm the connection between these factors and the disorders due to attention deficit
