This study stems from consideration on the crucial importance of work. The social and occupational reintegration of people subject to measures limiting their freedom is a very complex process because involving two crucial issues; first of all the difficulties that the world of work is going through (Beck, 2000), second of all, the institutional constraints and prejudices that these people live. In order to promote opportunities for prisoners and initiatives to improve the services for their social and work inclusion, it is necessary to encourage strategies of integrated interventions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of social services for disadvantaged social groups. The aim of this work, which involved 190 "free citizens", is to introduce an explorative analysis on the importance of inclusion activities for the social reintegration of the marginalized. An intervention aimed at changing human behavior cannot be separated from the prior consideration of internal, subjective variables of the users; only a careful evaluation of these variables allows to prepare the proper tools to "manage" and, where possible, modify the stereotype towards the imprisoned and the possibility to use such activities as a means to promote inclusion and social reintegration (Garling et al., 2003). This survey was carried out in a prison in the province of Syracuse (Sicily - Italy). Results show an overall positive level of satisfaction of the "sample audience" and a proper correspondence in the expectancies to those activities prisoners have finally performed for them.
