Manifold ways of political life. In the first section of the work, "Salt and fire", the author answers the question whether there is or not a feminist way of governing, different from the patriarchal one still used and she answers through the reference to some studies, specifically to Kinds of Power by James Hillman, Massa e potere by Elias Canetti and Mondo e persona by Romano Guardini. Starting from the mythology and the story by Marija Zambrano and Marìa Gimbutas, Donata Loss explains some modern and contemporary examples of feminist government which she calls "exercises of administrative maternity". The second section, "Flesh and blood", deepens the analysis dealing with the "social body" of women, their gaze and political language, deeply studied by Luisa Muraro, to reach the conclusion that the feminist way to run the world can be significantly different, due to the fact that it grants room to senses and feelings, building in this way a world based on reciprocity, luck of interest for reward and kindness.
