In the interview, Maria Laura Corradi talks about her personal experience as current holder of the Chair in Gender Studies, at the University of Calabria in Cosenza: the evolution of the Chair, the method of intersectionality used, the issues addressed or which should be addressed, the profile of the students who attend the lectures, the characteristics of the professorship with respect to similar ones in Italy and Europe. The interview ends with a reference to gender studies in non-European languages and to color feminism, which, according to the Author, are an emerging majority and a mode of leadership from which one could learn a lot.

Keywords: Gender studies; University of Calabria; white feminism; color feminism.
