Through the analysis of unpublished documents, newspaper articles and archive material, this article attempts to trace a historical profile of the so-called "Seventy-Seven Movement" in Turin: in a context characterized by the city’s industrial crisis, the election victory of the Communist Party and the crisis of the so-called "revolutionary groups", they are rebuilt the features of the Turin movement through the activities of the Circles of the Young Proletariat, the Feminist Collectives, the students in the occupied University, but also the attempts to compile a confrontation and a stable connection with the workers’ struggles and the collision between the movement and icp; finally the article analyzes the matter of violence, both "mass" and armed, in the evolution and above all the defeat of the movement in Turin.
