During the new Romano di Lombardia General Plan process, the Urb&Com Lab. of Politecnico di Milano has been in charge of the proposal of new retail planning strategies, through the analysis of the context and the definition of guidelines for the development of the local network. The aim of this paper is to describe the main analytical and planning outputs of the research, highlighting the peculiarities of the regional retail framework the definition of the strategies for the new general plan has confronted with.
