Starting from the adoption of a critical intersectional perspective (Crenshaw, 1989; 2017), this article explores the multidiscriminatory conditions to which disabled women are exposed. The first paragraphs examine the international scenario of research on violence against women with disabilities. The final paragraphs examine research and training trajectories for the development of educational practices towards emancipatory pathways.
