This paper examines the influence of labour law scholarship on constitutional case law over the past thirty years regarding the socalled privatization of public employment. After a brief qualitative and quantitative overview, the Author focuses on three decisions concerning collective bargaining, the organization of highly skilled work, and public sector management, highlighting their impact on the course of past reforms and the lessons they offer for current prospects of new reforms.
