In this paper, the authors analyzed the developments and the essential aspects, the positive and negative ones, about the "Digital Revolution" and about the techno-liquid society highlighting how these exalt and shape certain characteristics of the liquid man: narcisism, speed, ambiguity, search for emotions, and the need for infinite "light" relationships. The authors focused on the impact the Network has on cognitive functions, especially on attention, memory and learning. Compared  with learning, longitudinal studies have highlighted how the use of computer at school results in a drop in results both in writing and in reading, not giving the pupil the chance to stimulate mnemotechnical traits that are activated in the perception of reading and they facilitate visual recognition. In addition, pathological manifestations resulting from excessive use of digital technology are briefly described: anxiety, depression, social phobias, insomnia and others.Keyword: digital revolution, cognitive functions, psychipathology.
