AB -  <em>The Spotlight And The Microphone: Is A Socially Responsible Economy Possible or Necessary? </em> ABSTRACT: The author explains how and why, after ten years of teaching at Leuven University, he has moved from a sceptical point of view towards corporate ethics (or corporate social responsibility, as many scholars prefer to define it nowadays) to a positive option, leading the same author to consider corporate social responsibility as one of the main instruments for a development process towards a more equal and fair society, together with participatory democracy.
