The paper analyzes some aspects concerning the presence of immigrants in the urban fabric, with particular reference to the changes that have occurred in public housing estates. Specifically, the main results of several exploratory surveys developed in the Province of Ancona will be presented. The aim is to highlight some unresolved issues and the possibility of intervening in an integrated and multidisciplinary way.
