This short article provides an overview of recent publications in the history of psychiatry and fields allied to it in the in the UK. It takes a chronological approach but includes insights into newer methodological and spatial directions, and provides some of the context for their development. In demonstrating the vibrancy of work in this area, the article highlights both the breadth of studies and the importance of anglophone studies in what is an increasingly diverse area.

Questo breve articolo propone uno sguardo d’insieme sulle più recenti pubblicazioni dedicate alla storia della psichiatria ed alle disci- pline ad essa correlate nel Regno Unito. È strutturato secondo un approccio cronologico, ma spazia anche verso nuove metodologie e direzioni e fornisce parte del contesto per il loro sviluppo. Nel dimostrare la vivacità di lavori in questo Settore, l’articolo evidenzia sia l’ampiezza che l’importanza degli studi in lingua inglese, in un’area sempre più diversificata.
