Questo articolo è il riassunto di uno scritto pubblicato nella rivista Group Analysis, rivisto per i lettori italiani di Gruppi. Esso esplora l’esperienza formativa fornita attraverso l’utilizzo del Grande Gruppo formativo (“Large Training Group”, in seguito LTG) agli studenti dei corsi presso l’Istituto di Gruppoanalisi di Londra (IGA). Descriviamo il LTG dal punto di vista dello staff e degli studenti che vi hanno partecipato in un periodo di circa otto anni; discutiamo il ruolo del sottogruppo dello staff, ponendo particolare attenzione alle questioni riguardanti la leadership e al ruolo di colui che convoca e presiede il gruppo (da ora: convener). * Cilasun J., Schlapobersky J., Papanastassiou M. and Thomas A.
