This article focuses on the challenges of inclusive education in high school. More specifically, it is based on the linking of two action researches who accompany school teams in their efforts to foster learning in regular classes. The issue features challenges encountered by high school teachers and the importance of suggesting trainings for continuing education to involve interprofessional collaboration. After a brief definition of the central concepts, the methodological specificities of the two projects are explained. The core of this article demonstrates the findings on three aspects: reflexive, operatory and identity. Finally, it highlights evidence of interprofessional collaboration to sustain change in inclusive education.Keywordsinclusion; continuing education; interprofessionnal collaboration; action research

US screening international financial transactions - The June 2007 agreement between the EU and the US on monitoring financial transactions points to a new way of writing international law. The attached letter procedure does not establish an agreement between two sovereign powers. There is only one party, the US administration that reasserts its right to dispose the personal data of Europeans. By way of compensation it unilaterally grants formal guaranties which it can one-sidedly change or suppress. The Us executive thus directly exerts his sovereignty on European populations.

In the frame of the analysis of Italians’ general attitude toward the awkward memory of the totalitarian experience, this article tries to assess the still controversial question concerning the legacy of Fascism in Italy. Focusing on the transition to post-Fascism of the young intellectuals grown up during the fascist regime, the author suggests that the difficult relationship between the anti-Fascist movement and the younger generation and its attempt to reject both Fascist and anti-Fascist ideologies and values reveals, as a result of the totalitarian formation, the permanence of an integralist attitude among the post-war youth. In this sense, the so called long journey from Fascism to anti-Fascism was accomplished by many young intellectuals mostly within the frame of the new democratic system.

"Family" has been a contested institution for the first Italian gay movement in the Seventies, sharing the feminist rebellion against patriarchy. It was Arci Gay that started using the word famiglie (in the plural) in the 90s during the political campaigns for a legal recognition of same-sex couples, while more radical groups still contested the term. In the mainstream political debate, the use of the singular family vs the plural families became a sign of closure or opening towards the GLBT movement’s requests. National polls and Eurobarometers have tested the level of social acceptance for same-sex unions and adoptions overtime, and are a good source to describe the changing social situation for families with lesbian and gay parents. In 2000s political groups formed specifically around the issue of GLBT parenting. The word omogenitorialità was coined after the french example, and used in the political debate. Notwithstanding the long debate and the diffusion in many countries all over the world of the recognition of same-sex partnerships and parenthood, in Italy no law has been approved yet, and opposition is still strong.

L’autore ricostruisce le vicende dell’esclusione di Erich Fromm dall’Associazione psicoanalitica internazionale, avvenuta negli anni immediatamente successivi alla fine della seconda guerra mondiale e succedutasi, nel caso di Fromm, alle dimissioni dalla Società tedesca di psicoanalisi alla quale Fromm, assieme a tutti gli altri membri ebrei di tale società, fu costretto dopo l’avvento al potere dei nazisti in Germania. Nella ricostruzione di questa storia, l’autore apre un’ampia parentesi per descrivere le vicende della psicoanalisi in Germania durante gli anni del nazismo e nel periodo immediatamente successivo alla fine della guerra. La descrizione di questa storia, mai raccontata prima con questa precisione, è occasione per l’autore di sottolineare la dubbia conduzione politica dell’Associazione psicoanalitica internazionale sotto la guida di Jones e dei suoi primi successori.

The essay examines the contribution which Niklas Luhmann's theory offers in regard to the analysis of the social exclusion processes characterising present modern societies. The theory provides some general theoretical notions which favour an appropriate understanding of social exclusion, as its distinction between "internal" and "external" and its pointing out of the multidimensionality of social processes as an expression of the functional differentiation of modern societies. It also offers a precise definition of those factors which cause the widening of social exclusion within modern society. But it is this same emphasis on differentiation processes which makes it impossible under Luhmannian systems theory to formulate all-embracing principles of social inclusion of persons which would be the only way to tackle this basic problem of social integration. The "societal approach" is presented as an alternative and more promising theoretical proposal for the analysis of social exclusion and for operative strategies against it.

Puntando sul potenziale euristico e formativo delle narrazioni, il volume offre diversi percorsi di approfondimento all’interno del complesso scenario della pedagogia speciale: dallo studio delle famiglie con disabilità, alla valorizzazione dei processi di autodeterminazione e di emancipazione delle persone con disabilità, alla promozione dei progetti di vita e delle diverse e possibili traiettorie di senso. Un testo per studenti in formazione – verso la professione di educatore, di docente, di insegnante di sostegno, di pedagogista – o per lettori attenti al “potere” delle storie di vita.

L’estensione alle misure di prevenzione patrimoniali dello spazio di cooperazione internazionale definito, per le indagini patrimoniali e l’apprensione dei proventi e dei profitti criminosi, dalla Convenzione di Strasburgo dell’8 novembre 1990, ha incontrato, e incontra, non pochi ostacoli. Per questo merita attenzione (e discussione) la pronuncia con cui la Corte di cassazione francese, il 13 novembre 2003, ha confermato la decisione dei giudici di merito di dare esecuzione in Francia a un decreto di sequestro (e poi a quello di confisca) di beni immobili emesso in un procedimento di prevenzione nei confronti di persona condannata in primo grado per il delitto di associazione per delinquere finalizzata al traffico di droga.
