Il test di orientamento motivazionale - versione generaleT.O.M.-V.G. is a self-report tool to measure the motivational bent. His features make it a test that could be a great help for scholastic and vocational guidance. It consisting of 4 sub-scales: orientation to objective, to innovation, to leadership and to relationship. The aim of this paper is realize how each of his 43 items measure the pertinent sub-scales. In relation of pertinent sub-scales, the results advise us that a version of 36 items (9 items for each sub-scales) and a weight computation method of items are possible.
