"Al posto di". La pulsione e il suo sconfinamento. Rielaborazione (durcharbeiten) e pratica analitica attuale - In the Place of The Drive and its Flooding In 1984, in the work Trends involved in Latin American Psychoanalytic Thought, W. Baranger and J. Mom asserted: «We are not fanatics. We are circumspect expansionists. We have mentioned it elsewhere Expansion without dilution and with accuracy». Framed within this idea, the term In the place of implies the appeal to retake and rethink the Freudian counterpoint: repetition-re-elaboration (durcharbeiten) in view of the demands our practice must face. With this purpose, auxiliary hypotheses are put forward with an aim: to rethink the hindrances of the cure. And an intention: to establish a link between meta-psychological ideas and current psychoanalytical clinics. And one expectation: that it is possible to research into its bounds and to revalidate its current force at the same time. Such hypotheses especially focus on the study of forms of repetition: in the discourse and displayed in the transference (attached to representational complexes) and in action (not attached to representational complexes), analyzing its possibilities of re-elaboration. Repetition in act, its various degrees of complexity and its articulation with meta-psychology, is analyzed and further on, ideas about the analyst’s framework and function in the work of re-elaboration are posed for debate. The article ends with the presentation of a clinical case study.
