Le imprese recuperate dai lavoratori: un inedito rapporto tra economia e società - Canadian cooperatives and their workers: difficult questions in the management of human resources The essay deals with the management of the personnel in cooperatives, taking into consideration the experience of some Canadian organizations. The cooperatives, as well as other enterprises, have to manage "human resource". According to the authors, little has been written on this aspect, as well as on the conflict between workers and management, mainly in the case of hybrid cooperatives, which have to face the problem of reconciling the workers’ interests with the producers’ ones. By assessing the actual situations, co-operatives’ practices, and the workers’ involvement in the co-ops, perhaps unionization could still be a key to better labour-management relations in this sector.
