Production/consumption shorts in the editing of the fashion collections - In this article the author shows how the Howard Becker’s concept of "editing" can be fruitfully used for analyzing tghe creative process in fashion and how the use of this conceptual frame work as a heuristic cathegory helps in underlying interesting reciprocal influences between production and consumption. With the empirical analysis of the work, during the process of creation of a new collection it appears clearly how it is impossible to separate production and consumption, market and organization in the fashion industry.
