Psychoanalysis and institutions: a possible intervention - After underlining the paradigm shift, which Relational Psychoanalysis carried out in comparison with Classical Psychoanalysis, the Author explores the change that the concept of subjectivity and interaction brought into the psychoanalytic model. The subject is an organized structure, a system, that constructs constitutive meanings in the relation with the other. Interactions codify conscious and unconscious meanings and later reproduce them with the aim of assuring a functional balance to the system. From these premises follows a method that consists in: 1) the observation of the interaction aimed to understand the system of unconscious meanings; 2) an intervention that aims to catch rigid meanings to put them in motion in a new relationship. This method can be expanded and applied in a lot of fields, like institutions, schools, clients’ houses, just as the object of intervention (adults, children, adolescents, couples, groups) becomes relative.
