In this work the Author proposes an analysis of two films by Guillermo del Toro "Il Labirinto del Fauno" and "La Spina del Diavolo" from a Post-rationali- st perspective. The aim of this article is to analyze how children cope with "loss", "sorrow" and "mourning", using imagination in distractive activities. The "Self Meaning" that emerges from these painful experiences, contributes to create a Narrative Identity centered on specific patterns of Attachment. In this case, once again, Post-rationalist approach rappresents a useful opportunity to explain also human harmonic functioning.
