Paper examines the contribution of cognitive psychotherapy to develop efficient therapeutic strategies in Psychiatric Department of National Health Service as Private Psychiatric Services, considering most frequent psychiatric diseases that are met in those professional contexts. After briefly having been taken account of evidence based efficacy of cognitive approach, the most adequate and frequent therapeutic interventions for both, Public and Private Psychiatric, Services are described. The importance of attention and modification in thecniques on major diseases in psychopathology have been examined, especially those related to metacognition’s studies. Finally, in this approach the contribution of cognitive psychotherapy to processes of integration in psychiatric activities has been pointed out, in particular referring to psychiatric working team.
