In this paper you analyze the international debate about the role that genetics plays in Autism and the existence of a hypothetical Broader Autism Phenotype - BAP. The objective is to identify the unique characteristics of the BAP, suggesting an emblematic clinical case of this broader phenotype. Also, you tried to go into what aspects are converging between the BAP and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in view of the publication of DSM-V, which provide for a new category, entitled OCRDs - Obsessive- Compulsive-Related Disorders, in which the DOC will be placed in transition areas between different categories of disorders, including Autism.
