This paper aims to an economic exploitation of local countryside cultures, using an ecocompatible tourist perspective, since no rural tourism is possible without the preservation of the original characteristics of places and without a high enough environmental quality. The article takes under consideration the exploitation of local cultures as a basic factor for attracting tourists to the rural places and the concept of glocal authenticity is proposed as a new opportunity for a modern humanism based on the cultural cooperation.
