The author narrates his city, Sesto San Giovanni, with a glance "next to memory and its inestinguishable ambiguities and consequent plots..." with a tension aimed to build up a sense of identity. In the light of the homologation imposed by the logic of market the writer suggest to return to memory and its narrations, as an impulse to accept the challenge that future imposes.
