Assessment of the effectiveness of an intervention for the prevention of homophobic bullying, held in Florence on 338 students of secondary classes of first order, through the construction of an ad hoc instrument, administered before and after the intervention, based on a careful analysis of scientific literature. The results show the effectiveness of the intervention in increasing the participants' knowledge and awareness in relation to definition and revision of concepts of gender, stereotype, role, discrimination, sexual orientation and homophobia. Future developments: implementation of a long-term evaluation.
