Ecological conversion of the contemporary city. The author abandons the currents related to the excessive rhetoric of urban planning and engineering theories to the contrary, while suggestive. The article proposes a reflection on a theme popular in the current debate over the city: The envelopement to find within the modernist tradition of the disciplines of urban design a line of studies and experiments on the sustainable and renewable city.
