Gender envy: some considerations. Often young patients show the difficulty in searching a gender identity representing their own project and psychic fertility. It would be a mistake to consider this as expression of individual problem: it is the expression of a collective inability in finding a new vocabulary and a new semantic which can name the structures of libido among the social liquidity. The disturbing theme of difference, foundation of subjective identity, needs to takeover oral terms in relationships, waving between greed and envy, that we can see not only in the scene of individual psyche, and in cultural and political scene as well.
