The teaching of bioenergetic at two Academies of Dramatic Arts is the occasion to think about the possible implementation of knowledges and practices of bodily psychotherapies in the contexts of actors’ training, to help to increase the credibility of contemporary theater that today is considered weakened. The theater of the representation of the other, of the character as a subject-other than himself, to obtain the approval of the public, has been suggested as a recurrence of the mechanism that produced the false Self in the people, to seek in childhood the family approval. It’s considered a form of resistance to change, because of the difficulty to meet themselves.

Keywords: Actor, actor’s training, body, false Self, bioenergetic, narcissism.
