This article shows an attempt to face the anorexic pathology of some adolescents who refused the therapy, only through their mother. According to literature and my personal clinical experience, the intervention has been focused on the process of reconstruction of their subjectivity, that is the ability to give; an experience they never did before. This article wants to open a dialogue with other psychoanalysts colleagues about the importance of this concept (subject = giver) considered basic in the normal psychological evolution of human being.
