The freedom of contract in the last years has created several types of contract, stipulated by owners and charterers (or passengers), for commercial use of pleasure vessels, that it’s difficult to classify into the legal types regulated by the Italian code of yachting. Among these there are many agreements similar to the cruise contract, of which this paper provides a brief overview.
