The chapter addresses the issue of adequate housing and living conditions for children. It illustrates the measures undertaken at national level to guarantee the access of families with children to housing and the measures to prevent the risk of homelessness due to eviction. Risk which is no longer limited to the socially vulnerable categories, but that also impacts on people who can afford a rent or a mortgage. The planning and the interventions made by the regional government of Lazio are also taken into consideration.

Keywords: Housing, eviction, measures for the access to housing.
