In this editorial the number 1/2018 is presented, not in order of publication, but following a personal thought of the Director on the theme of the issue. The note is a salient punctum of the process, a first point of arrival of the floating attention, a first temporal translation of the Preconscious. Not yet a creative transitional space, neither an analytical third, nor a raw perception, but a word, personal signifier emerging from the memory of the session. It deviates from the contracted word of poetic language, because it inevitably contains the lump of reality of the analytic relationship, in which the other is present and anchors to the process of cure.
