This article examines a project that aims to deconstruct gender stereotypes through the use of photovoice. The project "Photovoice: working with adolescents to deconstruct gender stereotypes" was implemented in two classrooms of the second year of a Professional Institute of Savignano Sul Rubicone (FC). The research allowed students to be activated through the use of photography by carrying out a continuous operation of analysis and decoding of the stereotypes portrayed in the pictures. The evaluation of the project was accomplished through the administration of questionnaires. Before the intervention the students showed a common presence of gender stereotypes, following the intervention there were some changes about it.
