Addiction, such as other chronic conditions, is a multifactorial disease.It is related to natural, behavioral and environmental factors and like other chronic diseases affects some dimensions so much as to give rise to a biographical disruption. The manuscript analyzes these elements in medical terms and in terms of career and considers the role of services for addictions on this issue.
