Following a strong historiographical tradition about the influences and reception of Wilsonianism in Italy and among Italian politicians, this article aims to analyze the ways in which the American president’s foreign policy projects were incorporated into the programs of Italian socialism between 1917 and 1919, that is, the three-year period during which Wilson’s popularity was most widespread.
