The essay reflects on the limits of the national education system to redefine the reasons for its rethinking (also) in the face of the many challenges imposed by modern society. The inability of the current system to favor the development of the individual personality of all, and each, and to contain the inequalities present in the social reality reveals the urgency of a change that knows how to enhance the resources and talents of each, without abandoning the goal of ensuring equal training opportunities for all. In this sense, it investigates the possibility of creating a universal education system, at the center of which, alongside the traditional objective of acquiring fundamental skills, enhance the personalization of learning.
