The collection compiled in this second issue of 2025 focuses on the most recent applications of hypnosis in clinical, psychotherapeutic, and research settings. The most considerable evidence is reported, primarily regarding the positive effects of hypnotic procedures on pain, anxiety, stress, and quality of life. Conversely, most systematic reviews indicate that greater homogeneity in the administration of hypnotic techniques would help research yield clearer and more conclusive results. A special mention is for the weight and the role played in the world of hypnosis by the work of S. J. Lynn, who passed away last year.
Keywords: anxiety, pain, stress, hypnosis.
