AB -   To be master of myself I have to be unprepared in front of what happens to me asserted Nietzsche. Starting from this idea, the Author shows how the psychical place of the unexpected represents the point of contact between the horizontal continuity of life and the spiritual element as the shape of a vertical advent. Such conditions, reaffirming the symbolism of the cross and touching the same limits of human existence, show the caducity of the illusion woven around the Ego and, at the same time, confirm the way of the Self to Men as the affirmation of a spiritual principle inherent our being humans.
