This article is about the complexity of forced migration. The aim is to analyze how power dynamics can influence women asylum seekers and refugees hosted in two programs of the national system. The goal is to investigate if the "suspended time" waiting for the interview for the determination of the refugee status, and the care and protection routines of the hosting programs professionals can constitute forms of violence.The study is based on ethnography in two host programs and collect paths of ten women, as well as professionals’ routines. Through the intersectionality approach and with the addition of a new differentiation axis related to the specific legal status, the article will analyze host policies and practices as well as admissible conducts among the ones adopted by women refugees and asylum seekers.
