In this study the author offers an example of research on restrictive anorexia using a systemic family and individual integrated model of suffering which is based on the Attachment Theory and the study of personality. The key trait of avoidant personality in anorexia is a compliant hyperresponsibilization which paralyzes any possible empathy either towards herself or her family.
